Paint the town red…

I met Vinnie Caruana tonight. It was surreal. That man is the bronze medal of musicians in my book. Frank takes the gold, then Anthony Raneri for the silver, and ever since I was 13 years old, Vinnie takes the bronze. Although it was my first show without my darling husband in quite sometime (kind of upsetting, he was missed by the whole party)… I had an EXCELLENT time. It was an intense show. First time I’ve been so “involved” in a long time. I made some girl bleed (mistakenly), I befriended some big crazy dude with a beard, and had an awesome possum time with everyone else who devoted themselves to every second of their performance. To top it off, I spent the night with my brother and his amazing girlfriend, to whom’s company is insanely valued. I loved every minute of this evening except for the fact that the most perfect man in the world was missing from the events. Its obvious how much I love my husband. It is not necessary to express that to you, it’s pretty much understood.

Sad and rude, but that’s what I thought when I heard that Anthony and Nichole separated and later divorced. Boy was I right… Killing Time is AMAZING. I love what a broken heart can accomplish… brrmmmmp.

My husband declared this “our song” several months after we began dating. We saw Anthony solo together and bought the split demo he did with Vinnie Caurana. This song was on it. A year later, my now husband, proposed to me in the car parked in the lost of the Braintree T station. I said yes, of course. A few months later, we got married in Kittery, ME. Days later, my husband left for a 3 month deployment and the day he returned, we saw Anthony solo again. After messaging him days before, he dedicated the song and played it for my husband and I. Soon after that event, we had our wedding reception and danced our first dance as a married couple… this was and is “our song”.

I told Anthony at another solo show that this was our song. He laughed when I told him that we say “i love you” by clearing our throat, as he does in the begining of the song. lol.

WAHHHHHT?! Just randomly found sirens and condolences on victory’s webstore. I bought the black smoke swirl one (1/150). Also available is a cream white (1/150), and a golden yellow (1/525). I did some fishing around and saw they were released only a few days ago. Boy am I glad I found it now, instead of months from now when they’re all sold out. Super stoked about this. But shhhhh I’m going to surprise Nick when it comes in… he’s gonna pee himself in excitement. (Sirens is his absolute favorite!)
